Amboseli National Park

Amboseli National Park

Lies on the Kenya-Tanzania border. It’s popularly known as “The courtyard of Kilimanjaro” due to the excellent views of Mount Kilimanjaro from any part of the park. It is particularly famous for its elephants, and one can get pretty close to the elephant herds. It is a land of fantastic contrasts between arid and dry surroundings and the oasis like swamps, with plenty of game everywhere. The back drop of the snow capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro compensates for the rather sparse landscape in the park.
